This course contains the following the workshop recordings

How to Improve TOEFL® Reading Scores

Josh MacPherson explains how to improve TOEFL® reading scores, highlighting the importance of becoming adept at really reading, rather than just skimming over or scanning over a piece of text in search of keywords. Students expect that teachers will be very familiar with the TOEFL® test, and will also know to improve their test scores. Josh introduces test-taking strategies and classroom activities designed to foster an engaging classroom environment that aims to improve student performance on TOEFL® test day, regardless of the level of proficiency of a given student.

How to Improve TOEFL® Writing Scores

Dorothy Zemach explains how to improve TOEFL® writing scores and how students can become more competent in both grammar and vocal ability in a short space of time. This session also includes practical advice on how teachers can assess the writing abilities of your students in shorter periods of time.

How to Improve TOEFL® Speaking Scores

Rob Howard offers valuable advice and training on how to improve TOEFL® speaking scores and how you can help your students to improve their verbal skills upon being presented with a set of facts on which they must formulate an answer very quickly. You will learn how to place more emphasis on the answer, rather than the question itself.

How to Improve TOEFL® Listening Scores

Dorothy Zemach shows how to improve TOEFL® listening scores, which will help us to improve the listening skills of our students. You will also receive expert instruction in how to help your students to overcome any difficulties they experience with both speed and accent.
